I purchased this neck at what was an acceptable price but couldn't find one elsewhere on that day and even though it stated the neck was used I felt it wouldn't likely have much wear. What arrived was not an Allparts neck even though the picture on the sales page was the stock Allparts photo. This is a used and fairly scruffy Squire Affinity Telecaster neck, the cheapest in the Fender range, with an Allparts label attached. The makers marks/logos have been scraped off the front and back of the headstock, which I've vaguely managed to capture in the pictures although to the naked eye, this is glaringly obvious.Allparts necks are made of very high quality Maple, this one is made of the very cheapest grade. An inexperienced buyer may not have known what they were looking at but I've been building and repairing guitars for over 30 years so as I opened the packaging, I knew what it was. The Squire Affinity Telecaster retails for around €199 in Europe, this item was sold for €149 plus carriage. The parcel was delayed in arriving to the point Amazon.DE gave me a full refund so in view of the current climate I decided not to make a fuss but have kept the neck aside and documented it immediately should this situation arise. I do not believe this reflects on Amazon at all and I shall continue to shop here but someone, somewhere in the chain, put this into stock, accidentally or otherwise (the attached makers label suggests it may not have been accidental).
