As a huge fan of Tim Armstrong, Op-Ivy, Rancid, and all things SKA-Punk, I bought this guitar with no real intention of playing it. I just wanted to hang it on my wall to show my pretentious friends that I was still edgy (for a fat 50-something-year-old). I have not been able to put this eff'ing thing down! It's not only gorgeous looking, but is soooo easy to play, and rings like a bell. It makes me sound much better than I am. The neck is slim and fast, feeling a lot more electric than acoustic, the action is light, and the satin finish is very easy on the hands. The concert size makes it very comfortable to lounge around with, and the sound is incredibly crisp and clear. At under $500, I think it's an absolute steal even if you don't know or care who Tim Armstrong is.Update: I still love the Hellcat. - so much that I sent my daughter one, who is a much better guitarist than me. She likes it too, so you'll probably see it on stage at some Denver area dive bars.
