The case is great. The hardware is fine. The interior is cheap. The interior shape is formed with Styrofoam. I bought this to house my fender telecaster. The fit is awful. There's an inch, or two, on either side and about four to six inches of space at the bottom. At first I was concerned all the room for movement my torque the neck, but the Styrofoam is soft enough it's not going to be an issue. The lining material is a thin as it could possibly be. You can literally see the Styrofoam underneath, on the edges, where it was bent to fold around the Styrofoam. I bought a Gator case, in the same price range and the lining was a nice, soft, furry material. The lining in this case is more like velvet. It's not a thick pile, but it is soft. The Gater case was wooden, fit my Fender Stratocaster snuggly and I expect it would have been the same for a telecaster .The reasons I kept this case are, it was on sale for just under $100, abs seems more durable than wood, the interior protection was adequate. The reasons I would not buy again are, the case wasn't a good fit for fender telecaster guitar (without adding additional padding) and the interior lining was cheap looking and feeling. I probably would have preferred the $100 Gator case, but it wasn't worth the hassle of returning and I really do prefer the abs for durability, although a wooden case has never let me down. I'm a firm believer in 'good enough.' This case may have been an overkill for protecting my guitar and I would have preferred a smaller case, that is more plush and a better fit. Although, this case is lighter than the wooden case. My goal is to keep my guitars safe in storage and protected when moving from point A to B and back. I don't travel heavily with it and mainly care about the 'comfort' of my guitar. I wouldn't buy it again, because it's too expensive for the quality and fit. It's not a bad case. It's a bad value.
